The future of Meldreth is being decided now, and we need your voice. While the Parish Council is facilitating the Neighbourhood Plan, the majority of the content - the ideas, the research, and the vision - must come from the community itself.
We are looking for a diverse range of perspectives to ensure our village remains a great place to live, work, and study for everyone.
Who are we looking for?
We’ve streamlined the process to ensure you can contribute with a minimum of effort - no “interminable meetings” required. We are seeking:
- The Core Team: Individuals with specialist skills (planning, digital engagement) and generalists to help shape the consultation with Meldreth. /b1
- Students & Young People: Help us understand the needs of those in education. /b2
- The Busy Middle: We need your high-impact input on how the village works for busy residents and families. /b3
- The Third Age: Help us build a legacy using your experience and perspective on retirement in Meldreth. /b4
- Local Businesses & Home Workers: Your insight is vital for our local economy. /b5
- The Dreamers: We want big thinkers to help us imagine facilities and assets for Meldreth 2045 that don’t yet exist. /b6
